Happy Birthday, Holy Father!

My Daily Prayer For the Holy Father
For our Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, for his good health, safety, and security, for his intentions and prayers, both public and private, for his serenity of body, mind, and soul, for his personal sanctification, for his happiness in his job, for his longevity as our Supreme Pontiff; may his reign last at least 10 years, and preferably 15, all in excellent good health of body, mind, and soul for him. May he not deliver himself, or be delivered, into the hands of his enemies, or the enemies of the Tradition of the Faith, but instead, may he triumph over them.
May he triumph over his enemies and the enemies of the Tradition of the Faith in every pronouncment that comes out the Vatican, written or verbal, from his office, or from the offices of any of his subordinates or dicasteries.
May he triumph over them in every appointment he or his subordinates make to jobs in the Vatican, at high or low level.
May he triumph over them in every appointment he or his suborndinates make to the Vatican's representatives around the world, as they often have much influence in the appointment of bishops.
May he triumph over them in every appointment he makes to the ranks of the world's bishops.
May he triumph over them most especially in every appointment he makes to the voting members of the College of Cardinals. From now on may he only appoint to the rank of Cardinal bishops who thoroughly, sincerely and completely share his views on liturgy, tradition, doctrine, and the structure and discipline of the Church, the priesthood, and religious life in general.
May he appoint enough such bishops to the rank of Cardinal so that when the next conclave does happen, hopefully no sooner than 10 years from now, he will have appointed such a large majority of the voting cardinals, aqnd such a large majority of his appointees will be like-minded with him, in the mold of Cardinals Burke and Ranjith, constituting 2/3+1 of the conclave, so that the result of the conclave will be a foregone conclusion. May his like-minded appointees in that conclave not divide over issues of national or regional pride, personal ambition, faction, or any other consideration, but stick together and vote together as a united idealogical voting bloc, voting for the same cardinal, and may they have the votes to, and do elect their choice as the next Supreme Pontiff.
May the Cardinal elected to succeed Pope Benedict be a man who is a true and sincere friend to both Tradition and traditionalists, who frequently says the Traditional Mass out of love for its beauty and spirituality, and not as a way of currying favor with anyone.
May he be a man who is perfectly straight, and not in the least bit tainted by any sort of association with the so-called "Lavendar Mafia," at any time in his life. May he have never hidden pervert priests, transferred them around from parish-to-parish, or sided with or aided or abetted them against the legitimate claims of those who actually have been abused by perverted priests. But may he have dealt forthrightly and above board with any such allegations.
May be be a man who has led a life of exemplary holiness and piety, and yet has enough, I think the word I want to use is "ruthlessness," to be an excellent administrator who will make sure all work towards his objectives, and that any who do not, or who try to buck what he is trying to accomplish, or Pope Benedict has been trying to accomplish before him, will end up in a very unpleasant job, and in a very unpleasant place, even if he has the patronage of one or more very senior and influential cardinals, or even if he is, or they are very senior and influential cardinals.
May he be a man whose views are held staunchly and steadfastly, for whom there is not the least possibility that his views or his policies will drift towards a more progressive, liberal, or even moderate position.
May he surround himself with like-minded priests, monsignors, bishops, archbishops, cardinals, and even lay and religious workers, so that all will strive in the same manner towards the same objective.
May he be young and healthy enough to reign and rule effectively for a long time.
May he be willing and able to use modern means of communication, including teleprompters, to reach more souls more effectively.
May he be a man with excellent communications and leaderships skills.
May he have something of the common touch, so that he can make himself popular, and thus enhance the popularity and acceptance of his policies.
May he take Pope Benedict's ideas and programs, adopt them and make them his own, and push them right down to the parish level all over the world with great success in the next pontificate.
May Pope Benedict's ultimate triumph be that his policies and programs, especially his Motu Proprio document Summorum Pontificum, be locked in and perpetuated not just by his immediate successor in the papacy, but by all of his successors in the papacy, to the utter, complete, and total, ruin, defeat, and consternation of "progressive" or "liberal" attitudes in the Church and those who hold them.
I pray in the meantime for the success of Pope Benedict's pontificate in strengthening and unifying the Church, and in making its worship more solemn, reverent, holy, and reflective of the traditions of the Church, and much less reflective of the ethos of the Twentieth and Early Twenty-First Centuries.
I pray for the success of his pontificate in bringing all of Christendom to a recognition of, acceptance of, and a full participation in its Catholic roots.
I pray for the success of his pontificate in bringing vast numbers of converts, both large groups together, like the Pius X Society, the Traditional Anglican Communion and related groups, Lutherans who harbor dreams of legitimate union with Rome, the Feeneyites, sedevacantists, all the Orthodox, as well as truly vast numbers of people from every faith tradition, and lack of faith tradition, in the world into full, complete, perfect and lasting communion with Holy Mother the Church.
I pray for the success of his Motu Proprio document Summorum Pontificum in astronomically increasing the number of times and places at which the Traditional Mass in Latin is said all over the world, in Europe, in Africa, in Asia, in South America, in Central America, in Australia and around the Pacific Rim, in North America, especially in the United States of America, especially in the Eastern half of the United States of America, most especially in all the New England states.
I pray that Summorum Pontificum will lead to an astronomical increase in the number and percentage of priests, bishops, and other clergy and prelates everywhere in the world who lovingly, joyfully, eagerly, and enthusiastically say the Traditional Mass in Latin and encourage it to be said in their parishes, parish clusters, dioceses, archdioceses, personal prelatures, apostolic administrations, institutes of apostolic life, colleges, schools, universities, seminaries, minor seminaries, primary schools, secondary schools, pontifical universities, nunneries, hermitages, priories, abbeys, convents, monasteries, oratories, chapels, missions, shrines, basilicas, cathedrals, in the basilicas of Rome, in the Vatican, at Saint Peters, in papal Masses, in Masses made available anywhere in the world via television or radio, in Masses made available via the internet, in Masses made available via podcast, and in Masses made available via any other means of technology, in Masses that are part of the program of bishops' ad limina visits to Rome, in Masses that are part of the program of convocations of bishops, priests, religious, clergy, or Catholic lay and Catholic Youth groups of any nature anywhere in the world, in Masses that are part of any form of Eucharistic Adoration, including Eucharistic Congresses, Perpetual Adoration, or the Forty Hours Devotion, in Masses that are said as part of parish missions, parish cluster missions, diocesan missions, as well as in foreign mission areas, and generally in any context in which Catholics come together to hear or to say the Mass, including the private Masses of priests, with or without a congregation, whether I have enumerated it or not, or even thought about it or not.
May Summorum Pontificum lead to an astrnomical increase in the number and percentage of the Catholic Faithful everywhere in the world who frequently attend, hear, and are attached to the Traditional Mass in Latin.
And may the much greater availability and access to the Traditional Mass in Latin because of Summorum Pontificum lead to to that mode of saying the Mass lead to it having a hugely greater influence on how the Novus Ordo Mass is said, making its worship more solemn, reverent, holy, and more in touch with the Tradtion of the Faith, and less in touch with the ethos of the Twentieth and early Twenty-First Centuries.
All these things in relation to our dear Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, I ask.
